194 PRETTY ORCHID SOLD Stained Glass Medallion Window CIRCA 1890 This beautiful old window Has outlived its original frame and been placed in a substantial pine picture frame for shipping and display. It was removed from an old property in Bradford during refurbishement. The Hand Painted Medallion is large and bright. A Beautiful orchid. The coloured glass is of a heavy and deep texture and has no crack or chips Unusual sqaure rondels adorn each corner these a rare. This glass seems to glow with a light of its own in the half light at dawn or dusk or sometimes on a cloudy day. It is an attribute of this heavy old glass to collect and softly diffuse the colours of the light falling upon it. The frame measures 24"H x 36"W .
